How do I log on to the order portal?

To access our ordering portal, and to begin placing your order, select the ‘Log In’ button in the top right of any page on the website. Enter your account username and password you have been assigned by your account manager, and click sign in.

How do I place an order?

Once logged in to the OneSearch portal, add your address details including post code. select the method of attaching a plan, select the products you wish to order, and then click complete order.

Can I add / remove from my order?

Can I place more than one order at a time?

Yes, our order portal will keep you logged in after an order has been submitted, allowing you to begin the process of placing any additional orders.

Where is my search / Why is my search delayed / What do I do if my search is delayed?

We work closely with all Local Authorities to ensure the quickest turnaround of information; understandably though, there can be circumstances which cause delays with information being returned to us.

To minimise the delay in returning information to you, our customer service team are on hand to investigate alternative solutions. For example, if your case is urgent, or delays are putting your transaction at risk of collapse, we can recommend OneSearch Express, a no-search insurance policy which also includes a comprehensive report pertinent to your client’s property, typically returned in just 2-5 working days.

Do I need to send a plan?

A plan is required when ordering conveyancing searches. During the process of placing your order, we can obtain a land registry plan on their behalf, alternatively you can upload a plan from your computer, or a property boundary can be drawn using the OneSearch mapping tool.

If none of the options are suitable, you can email a plan to plans1@onesearchdirect.co.uk after the order has been placed.

Is Onesearch regulated?

OneSearch Direct Limited are fully compliant with all aspects of the Search Code, PCCB and Property Ombudsman (TPO) Scheme.
